Creating a Brand for Environmentally Friendly Car Manufacturer.


As part of a second year module in college, Brand Management, I was tasked along with my group, to ‘create a brand for a manufacturer of environmentally friendly cars’ competing with Tesla. Building on both corporate and visual identity, I designed the name and logo for this company, creating ‘Volt,’ a name reflective of energy, innovation and sustainability. The interlocking lightning bolt logo in blue and green symbolises both electric power and the company’s eco-conscious values. I developed the core brand positioning by defining Volt’s personality and values through a strong visual identity and brand associations, ultimately establishing a strong and recognisable brand.
